Rasperry and chia jam

This jam is very nutritious and best of all, without preservatives!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Raspberries
  • 1 Tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp - Natural water
  • 4 Tbsp - Benmart®chia seeds
  • 45 ml - Maple/agave syrup

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, pour the water with the raspberries and cook over medium-high heat for a couple of minutes, stirring occasionally. Crush the raspberries with the help of a fork or masher.
  2. Add the lemon juice, Benmart chia seeds® and syrup, stir and cook for 2 or 3 more minutes. Taste the jam and add more sweetener if needed.

  3. Remove from heat and let the jam cool for 5 minutes (it will thicken quite a bit when it cools).
  4. Stir and serve in an airtight container. You can store it in the fridge for up to 1 month.
